Comparing insurance shouldn’t feel impossible.
Most websites sound the same: “award-winning,” “repairs guaranteed,” and show tick mark ‘yup this is covered,’ but none of that helps you understand what makes one different from the other.
You’re not alone if it feels overwhelming.
When Lindsey spoke to friends and family, many said they stuck with their current insurer because comparing options felt too hard. Others only checked one or two alternatives because it took too much time.
Real variation and impact.
Coverage and pricing can differ far more than you may think. Our founder, Lindsey, discovered this firsthand when she made the chart to compare her own home insurance, with quotes that ranged from $1,785 to $8,430. Same house, wildly different prices and unexpected variations in cover. Similar thing happened when she made the car chart for her car, receiving quotes from $628 to $1,829. Different prices and some unexpected inclusions in coverage.
